    Derrick Sasraku to join Medeama

    Tarkwa based club Medeama SC have signed  Derrick Sasraku into their ranks for the next two-and-half seasons.




    The 25-year-old player returned to the shores of the country after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with Tunisian powerhouse Club Africain.

    Coach Samuel Boadu is keen on ending the title drought of the Mauve and Yellow side this season and sees the former Aduana Stars striker as a figurehead that can steer the club to glory.

    The former Ghana Premier League striker is a man that knows the Ghanaian terrain very well have formed a deadly partnership with Yahaya Mohammed and Bright Adjei in his Aduana Stars days

    He is expected to form a deadly partnership with the club’s leading top scorer Prince Opoku-Agyemang and teenage sensation Nana Kofi Babil.

    Former Ghana Premier League champions, Kotoko, Hearts, and Aduana were all rumored to be interested but it was the Tarkwa based club who made their intentions clear.

    The Ghana Premier League is currently on hold as Ghana and the whole world battles, Corona Virus.
