Ghana midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has returned to full-scale training with German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.
This is the first time in two years that the creative midfield force is making a return after almost three years suffering a serious ACL injury in February 2023.

Despite undergoing surgery and rehabilitation, Kyereh faced setbacks in 2024, delaying his long-anticipated return to action. Through perseverance and determination, the midfield playmaker has now completed his first full senior team training session since the injury.

Kyereh trained with the Freiburg first team on Wednesday evening as the club prepared for their UEFA Europa League fixture against Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday night at home.
Kyereh was a huge figure for Freiburg until his injury. His return will be a massive boost for the club, who are hoping to do well. He the Bundesliga and the Europa League.
The Black Stars technical team will hope to slowly integrate him into the squad should he reach his full potential ahead of the World Cup slated for North America.
