    Coach of Black Satellites, Desmond Offei appointed Director of Coaching Education at GFA



    Desmond Offei, the coach of Ghana’s U20 team, has assumed the position of Director of Coaching Education at the Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

    He takes over from Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, who has been appointed as the Technical Director following the departure of Bernhard Lippert.

    In addition to his new role, Offei will continue as head of high performance at the Technical Directorate.

    The 36-year-old, who holds a UEFA A (Level 4) coaching license, will also lead the Black Satellites at the 13th African Games in Accra, aiming to secure a gold medal for Ghana.

    Offei has extensive experience coaching youth teams, including stints in Belgium with the U21 teams of Royal Antwerp FC and Lokeren. He’s had stints  in England, Holland, France, Portugal, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
