    Dreams FC boosted their chances of reaching the CAF Confederations Cup knockout stage with a vital 1-0 win over Tunisian side, Club Africain.


    The hosts making their debut campaign in Africa’s club competition were looking to build on their resounding home victory over Academica from Angola.

    The Ghanaian side failed to find the back of the net in the first half as the two sides drew goalless. 

    Five minutes after the second half resumed, Godfred Atuahene broke the bareness of the game with a sublime finish to power the host to a win in the penultimate group C.

    The win sees Dreams FC ascend to the summit of the table with 12 points followed by Club African and Rivers tied on 9 points and Academica with no point in Group C.
