    CAF Confederation Cup: Dreams FC edge out Milo FC in Accra

    Dreams FC staged an impressive comeback to beat  Milo FC de Kankan for a spot at the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium. 



    The host playing their first-ever match in a CAF inter-club competition, managed to settle for a 1-1 draw away in Guinea and needed to secure a win to qualify for the next stage.

    Coach Karim Zito named a strong starting berth featuring Augustine Koomson, A. Jalilu, Sylvester Simba, M.Ofori, Aholou Gael Avocevou, Ibrahim Dede, and the experienced John Antwi. 

    The Guinean side got their noses in front early in the game after they heaped immense pressure on Dawu based side which finally paid off. 

    Mohammed Kudus all but confirms his move to West Ham

    The second half saw the immediate substitution of Emmanuel Adjei for Abdul Aziz which paid off great dividends as he positively impacted the game. 

    Agyenim Boateng restored the host to parity with an 85th-minute penalty, five minutes later, experienced John Antwi shot his side into the lead assisted by the exciting Abdul Aziz. 

    Dreams FC will face Kallon FC of Sierra Leone in the next stages of the competition.
