Ghana Premier League outfit, Dreams FC put on a gallant display as they progressed to the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup qualifiers at the expense of Sierra Leone, Kallon FC at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium.

The Ghanaian club won the first leg of the tie at home when goals from Godfred Atuahene and John Antwi and consolation from Daniel Karim for the visitors in between put on them on the cusp of qualification.

In the second leg, an Agyenim Boateng Mensah penalty in just three minutes saw them ahead in the first half of the game.

In the 76th minute, Konsa Iddrisu converted a penalty on the stroke of full-time to earn his team a draw.

Dreams FC will hope to give a good account of themselves after they qualified to the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup competition for the first time in the club’s history.
