    CAF Champions League: FC Samartex draw Victoria United from Cameroon

    Ghana Premier League champions, Samartex have been paired against Victoria United from Cameroun in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup 2024-25 campaign.

     



    The Samreboi-based club won the league against all odds, in a competition that boasts, Hearts, Kotoko, Medeama SC, Aduana Stars, and others.

    They ended the 18-man league with the most points, 61, scored 45, and conceded 18 goals.

    FC Samartex will travel away to Victoria United in Cameroon before hosting them in Ghana for the second leg. The first preliminary round is slated from 16-18 August 2024 for the first leg matches and 23-25 2024 for the return fixtures.

    If Samartex advance to the next stage, they will face either Moroccoan club, Raja Casablanca or Association sportive de la Garde nationale nigérienne (AS GNN) in the second round in September.
