    Ghana’s U-15 girls’ team, the Black Damsels secured gold at the expense of Uganda at the just-ended 2025 African Schools Football Championship.



    The final game came off at the University of Ghana Stadium with large groups of supporters coming through to cheer the girls on.

    MATCH HIGHLIGHTS :

     

    The road to victory was smooth sailing for the girls as they easily dispatched Morocco, Benin, and Malawi in the group stage before squaring it off against defending champions, South Africa in a five-goal thriller.

    The first half between Ghana and Uganda ended in a drab draw but goals from Belinda Kpentey and Daniella Abass ensured they marked the competition as winners securing gold and cash of $300,00.
