    Former BlackStars player, Reverend Osei Kofi has admonished the technical handlers of the team to build it around the gifted Mohammed Kudus.



    Kofi who has been wowed by Kudus’ performances in a Black Stars jersey and as well club side, West Ham United in the English Premier League.

    According to the former legend, if the team is built around, Kudus will go a long way to aid the country to do well.

    “Whenever Polo had the ball, the four [talking about the fearsome five] would move, and he decided who to give the ball to,” he told Joy Sports.

    “Such players are rare. After me, there was Polo who came. But now, we have someone like [Mohammed] Kudus. Players like that are generational talents.”

    “If the technical team were good enough, they would know this. You always have to build the team around an individual,” he added.

    Kudus has become an integral figure for the Black Stars since making his debut five years ago. He was a standout performer for the country at the Qatar 2022 World Cup and the AFCON 2023 which took place in C, who made his Black Stars debut in 2019 and has scored 11 goals in 34 games for the Ghana national team.
