    Black Stars technical team escapes accident

    The Black Stars technical team was involved in a life-threatening accident on the Tarkwa-Takoradi stretch of the country.

     



    The technical team led by head coach Otto Addo and his two assistant coaches, John Paintsil and Fatau Dauda were involved in the near-death accident.

    The trio were returning to Accra from Tarkwa after witnessing the Champions of Champions game between the league winners, Samartex, and MTN FA Cup holders Nsoatreman on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the TNA Sports Stadium.

    The trio were unhurt from the accident but they would seek medical attention once they touched base in Accra.

    The Black Stars will play Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and later Niger in Morocco four days later.
