The Black Stars of Ghana have moved one place up in the latest FIFA ranking following their recent performance in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

The country ranked 76th back-to-back, but in the latest released rankings, they have improved its position by one.

The progression follows the Black Stars’ performance during the September 2025 international window, where they faced Chad and Mali in the World Cup qualifiers.
They picked four points from six, drawing Chad and beating  Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Despite the improvement in the global ranking, they, however, remain unchanged in the continental ranking.
Ghana sits 14th on the African continent.
