Ghana’s Black Stars have arrived in Bouake ahead of their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C qualifier against Cote d’Ivoire.
The team opened camp on Monday with seven players as the number further rose to eighteen in subsequent days.
The team has been blighted by a series of withdrawals with the notable ones, Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Antoine Semenyo and others .
Carlos Queiroz will have to make do with the likes of Caleb Yirenkyi, Sibo Kwesi ,Mohammed Fuseini and others for the crunch encounter against Cote d’ivoire.
The Black Stars will be hoping to get a better results away from home on Thursday and later face The Gambia on September 27.
The Portuguese coach will hope his team can handle the challenge posed by the hosts and return to Ghana with a result before turning their attention to the home fixture against The Gambia
