    A total of twenty players were involved in Black Stars training  session ahead of their final two group games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

     



    Otto invited twenty-four players for the final hurdle in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic.

    The squad saw the return of Alidu Seidu (Rennes) Fatawu Issahaku (Leicester City), the duo had been long sidelined by different injuries  at club level which prevented them from national assignments.

    The likes of Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Alex Djiku and Jordan Ayew participated in the training at  the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.

    The Black Stars will play CAR on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes.
