Despite a dominant performance by Coach Desmond Ofei’s team, the winning goal came from a fortuitous deflection off a cross-cum-shot by Jerry Afriyie, allowing Ephson to capitalize on the loose ball.

Ghana maintained their composure against a determined Senegalese side, patiently looking for opportunities until they finally found the breakthrough.

In the earlier semifinal, Uganda secured their spot in the final with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Congo.

The final between Ghana and Uganda promises to be an exciting contest, with both teams eager to claim the championship. The match is scheduled for Friday, March 22nd, 2024, at 8:00 pm local time.
