Ghana’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Black Maidens, have received a donation of sanitary pads as they intensify preparations for their crucial second-leg encounter against Togo in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The donation was made on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, during the team’s training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the Maidens are gearing up for the decisive fixture.

The exercise was led by Cabfix Ladies FC, under the leadership of CEO Jerod Kabu, as part of efforts to support menstrual health among female footballers. The initiative also forms part of a broader outreach backed by the Office of the Vice President, which has provided sanitary products to support women’s football development across the country.

Ghana heads into the return leg with a strong advantage, following a 2-0 victory over Togo in the first leg at the Stade de Kégué.

The Black Maidens will host Togo on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30pm.
