Bibiani GoldStars have officially appointed Greek tactician Petros Koukouras as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The 37-year-old is expected to lead the Miners following the departure of Swiss coach Fritz Markus Schmid in the just-ended season, where they lost their title bid to reigning champions Medeama SC.
Koukouras has an extensive portfolio of managing Ugandan clubs, Pacific Heroes FC, SC Villa Jogoo, and Kiyovu Sports(Rwanda), before serving as assistant coach of the South Sudan national team.
The UEFA A Licence is expected to forge a new chapter for the Bibiani-based club ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
