Ghanaian forward, Abednego Tetteh has joined Bibiani-based GoldStars in the current campaign, the club have announced.

The towering forward was released by Kumasi-based club King Faisal in the current campaign after his relationship with the technical team led by Jimmy Cobblah took a nosedive in the ongoing season.

Tetteh is expected to add more firepower to Michael Osei’s current squad, who are looking to finish in the top half of the betPawa Premier League 2022/23.

The nomadic striker is a household name in the Ghana Premier League after cutting a niche for himself with Bechem United which he led to win the MTN FA Cup in 2016.

He then followed up with a big-money move to Al Hilal, Sudan, where, he won the Sudan Premier League during the 2017 season whilst playing with them.

The 32-year-old subsequently had spells in Ethiopia with Jimma Aba Buna and back again in Sudan with Al-Hilal El-Obeid and Real Kashmir in India.

In May 2020, he teamed up with Accra Hearts of Oak on a free transfer but his spell there was largely unsuccessful, and later called it quits to join King Faisal.

Tetteh made a little over 10 appearances scoring two goals for the Kumasi-based club.
