betPawa Premier League club, Great Olympics has appointed Annor Walker as the new head coach for the upcoming season, 2023/24.

The experienced gaffer is coming into his role after dutifully serving as head coach of the newly promoted side, Samartex in the just-ended season, 2022/23.

He led the newly promoted side to a 10th-place finish in their debut campaign in the betPawa Premier League.

Annor Walker replaces former coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah, appointed mid-season to oversee the club’s safety from premier league exit. He was allowed to leave once his contract expired last month.

Walker oversaw two seasons with the Accra-based side, before moving on to Samartex United in the recently ended campaign.

The 62-year-old was heavily linked to the vacant job at Accra Hearts of Oak but in a swift turn of events he opted to sign with his former side, Great Olympics.
