Hearts of Oak’s number one shotstopper, Benjamin Asare, put in a man-of-the-match performance against Asante Kotoko.
The goalkeeper’s performance drew loads of praise from many who watched him, particularly Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who insisted the goalkeeper has ‘nothing to prove’ to anyone.
Before the game, the technical advisor of the Black Stars, Winfried Schaefer, hailed Asare as the best home-based player he has watched since assuming his role with the national team.
“It is for us to continue to do things that will help us, things that will keep our players in better shape. He has nothing to prove to anyone—that he’s the number one of the Black Stars or Ghana’s number one. – Didi Dramani said.
Asare has kept 9 clean sheets, conceding just 4 in 12 Ghana Premier League games this season, which Didi Dramani will be hoping he continues to churn out.
Hearts of Oak will be at home to Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
