Former Hearts of Oak enforcer Benjamin Afutu Kotey has secured his long protracted move to Egyptian club Eastern Company Sporting Club.

The energetic player signed a three-year deal with his new club after a series of meetings with his representatives of which he is set to pocket an amount of $80,000 after penning down his signature to the new contract.

The 25-year-old played hide and seek with his former club Hearts of Oak who were eager to tie him down as they prepared to compete in Africa.

Benjamin Afutu was part of the squad that completed the double in the just-ended campaign winning the Ghana Premier League after over a decade absence and the MTN FA CUP as well to cap off things.

He made 29 appearances scoring five goals and 2 MOTM awards during his days with Hearts of Oak.
