    Ghanaian midfielder, Benjamin Afutu-Kotey has successfully penned a one-year deal with Saudi Arabian-based club Al-Taqadom FC in the ongoing transfer window.



    The tireless defensive midfielder left his previous team, Eastern Company FC, Egyptian after unsuccessful attempts of breaking into the first team with his current team. 

    With reports going rife of his contract termination, which was later dispelled by his manager, he only went on to make a handful appearances with the side until a mutual agreement of contract termination meant that he had to leave the side for his left his new side.

    The defensive figurehead left the shores of the country after a successful season with Accra Hearts of Oak, where he was a dominant fixture in helping them win the triple in the 2021-22 season.  

    Afutu will have former, Hearts of Oak, player, Bernard Arthur for a company as he relishes an opportunity of making it become a mainstay with his current Saudi side.
