Bechem United release statement denying selling defender to Kotoko

Ghana Premier League side Bechem United released a statement on Wednesday morning denying selling defender Osei Kuffour to Asante Kotoko.



Several media outlets reported that Asante Kotoko reached an agreement to sign Samuel Osei Kuffour ahead of next season, but the club has denied these reports.


Bechem United made it clear that no club has written to them about the player and earlier publications are false and should be disregarded.

Samuel Kuffour has been the heart of Bechem United this season and is one of the reasons they are still unbeaten at home in the league.
