Bechem United claw three points from Ashgold’s jaw

Bechem United handed free-scoring, AshGold a raw deal when the pair met to honor their outstanding league four fixture on Sunday at the Nana Fosu Gyabour park.

Both teams were coming into this match, as one of the two teams yet to lose a match in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, as well as a top half clash.

The Hunter began the early exchanges of the game on the front foot, putting a plethora of chances to waste, hopefully, it didn’t come to hunt them, as the away side failed to get their mojo on track to score any of the chances they created in the entire throttle of the game.

For a side that had scored 10 goals in three matches prior to this duel, it was expected that once they got behind a Steven Owusu goal, they would get their acts together, crawl their way back into the game and possibly hunt for a winner but that wasn’t so.

This loss marks Aboakese’s first loss of the season, settling for a 5th spot on the log (W2D3L1), meanwhile, for the home side, this will mean their second week on the log after they beat Karela United a week ago to leapfrog them to the summit of the table.

    Result: Bechem United 1-0 Ashgold
