Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have announced the signing of Aminu Mohammed.

Aminu Mohammed was once touted as the next youth star, having sealed a deal with Manchester City from WAFA in 2018 for a reported fee of £2 million.

He failed to live up to the billing and was let go after a series of unsuccessful loan spells away from the club.

“The former Man City U23 star joins us for the 2025/2026 season! With his pace, power, and European flair, Aminu is set to bring flair, creativity, and 1`goals to our frontline,” Bechem United posted on their social media platform.
The 24-year-old becomes the club’s fourth signing after the additions of Abdul Basit Mohammed, Frank Promise, and Dennis Votere.

Aminu will hope to restore Bechem United’s confidence as they take on defending champions Bibiani GoldStars at Duns Park on September 12, 2025.
