Ghana maintained its position in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings released on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Nsoatreman FC have qualified to the Ghana Premier League ahead of Tamale City in a crucial playoff at Accra Sports Stadium.   The two teams were tied on points,71, heading into the final round of games and had to be separated through a playoff game.  Samuel Ofori shot Nsoatreman ahead with a carefully placed goal beyond the reach of the goalkeeper, Pongo Agbeko to send the fans into ruptures there after Bismark Asare via a penalty spot in the 65th minute to take that match to extra time. Serbian big-wigs Red Star Belgrade have signed Ghana international winger, Osman Bukari from Belgian side, KAA Gent in a deal worth €2 million, smashing their transfer record fee for any player. Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have been slapped with yet another judgment debt by the Ghana FA’s Player’s Status Committee with an amount of  GHS40,000 pay former left-back Daniel Darkwah within 14 days as an outstanding enticement fee. Daniel Darkwah joined Kotoko from Aduana Stars on a three-year contract but had to be let go under some acrimonious circumstances which he felt aggrieved and dragged the team to the FA’s Player’s Status Committee.
