Kotoko are in the form of the lives. After a year and a half absence from the Baba Yara Stadium, Kotoko gave their fans their monies worth as they delved deep to beat Bechem United at home to record back-to-back victories in the ongoing league campaign.  Dreams FC recovered from their first loss of the season to Kotoko as they easily dispatched Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Stadium. Asante Kotoko impressively dispatched Dreams FC away from home in an empathic fashion in Accra thanks to three sublime goals from Mudasiru, Oppong, and Lamptey.  The Reds will be looking to build on that triumph when they host Bechem United at their favorite Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium, their first match at the venue in over a year.  In the just ended league, both teams won their respective games which they met in their own backyard.  Bechem United are coming into this fixture on the back of thrashing title hopefuls Medeama SC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the season…

Ashantigold have started the season brightly under the tutelage of new coach, Ernest Thompson Quartey securing a vital win away to Eleven Wonders.  This weekend, they will be at the Obuasi-based Ley Clay Stadium to square off with Karela United. The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe has encouraged Ghana to put in a bid to host the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
