Prince Tagoe, a former forward for Hearts of Oak, claims that former coach Samuel Boadu acted “unprofessionally” after being seen in the inner perimeter during Hearts’ CAF Confederations Cup second leg against AS Real Bamako. This comes in response to a formal complaint made by Vincent Sowah Odotei, a board member for Accra Hearts of Oak. The Ghana FA president was re-elected by acclamation during the electoral congress held in Cote d’Ivoire. Former Karela United player, Umar Bashiru has penned down a one-year contract with Ethiopian Insurance Corporation FC. The 25-year old towering midfielder cut a career for himself in the Ghana Premier League with Karela United following a failed stint with Kotoko. Ghana’s teenage sensation, Lawrence Agyekum made his senior debut for Austrian club, RB Salzburg in a five goals thriller away to Altach in the Admiral Bundesliga. Former Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a major blip in their first leg preliminary stages of the CAF Confederations Cup after losing 3-0 to Malian side, Real Bamako at the Stade Modibo Keita.
