Mubarak Wakaso, a midfielder for the Black Stars, has signed with KAS Eupen of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League for the 2022–23 campaign. Edmund Addo, a midfielder for the Black Stars, has officially signed with Red Star Belgrade in the just-ended European transfer window.  The defensive midfielder decided to leave his current club Sheriff Tiraspol, Addo to sign a four-year contract with the Serbian champions. The Serbian were said to have repeatedly made efforts to sign the Ghanaian player earlier in the season but due to their involvement in the UEFA Europa League, they decided against selling the player.
