Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has broken his long silence following GFA’s verdict on match-fixing allegations amongst some of the Ghana Premier League. Hearts of Oak Board member Vincent Odotei Sowah has revealed one of the club’s long-standing ambitions of forming a new women’s team next season. The former Member of Parliament for Dadekotopon Constituency made this revelation in an interview to Kumasi-based radio station, Oyerepa FM. the Board is currently considering the name for the woman’s team. “Hearts of Oak will have its own female team next season. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been ordered to pay former coach Gernot Rohr just under $380,000 in compensation after abrogating his contract earlier than expected. The NFF was slapped with the fine after the former coach reported the non-payment of his arrears to FIFA following his breach of contract without just cause.
