Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko are close to losing Cameroonian import George Mfegue to Egyptian side Ismaily SC. The 25-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors last season and helped them win the league for the first time in a decade. Ghanaian club, Accra Hearts of Oak will take on Real Bamako of Mali in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup. Last season, the capital-based club finished the Ghanaian football season as MTN FA Cup champions.
