The Black Stars of Ghana finished the Kirin Cup tournament with no wins from two games. The team lost 2-0 to Japan on Friday and followed it up with another loss to South Korea. Nineteen players trained under the guidenace and leadership of head coach Otto Addo and his technical team. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has issued a statement following the passing of expressed of two Aduana FC supporters  in a road accident after Sunday’s Ghana Premier League match. Nigeria’s hopes of advancing to the intercontinental playoffs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup suffered a huge blip as they lost in a dramatic penalty shootout  to DR Congo on Sunday night. The Super Eagles beat Gabon in a 4-1 resounding victory to get to the final while Congo DR defied all odds to beat Camerron in the other pairing.
