One of the countries’ most sought-after lad; Augustine Boakye has sealed a mega deal to Austria-based side club, Wolfsberger AC this morning, June,20,2021.

Information reaching Saharafootball.net indicates that the talented midfielder, Augustine Boakye, flew to Austria together with his agents to finalize a four (4) year deal with Wolfsberger AC.

In the ongoing Ghana Premier League, he has been instrumental in his club’s quest for a top-four finish; it’s no surprise that he was on the score sheet when they drew a 1-1 draw against Dreams FC enabling him to pick his sixth MOTM award.

Boakye has featured for Coach Prosper Narteh Ogun’s side in twenty-five (25) outings scoring as many as seven (7) goals in a season, which is shaping out to be a stellar one for the lad, who has drawn wide praises from lots of stakeholders in the game, most recently, Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu, who touts him ahead of players like Gladson Awako and Brazilian player Fabio Gama.

His absence will be greatly felt by the Sogakope based clubs, who are chasing a top-four finish in the ongoing Ghana Premier League which is getting keener as the weeks roll by.
