French club, AS Saint-Etienne has successfully sealed the deal to bring Ghanaian midfielder Augustine Boakye from Wolfsberger AC.

The Ligue 1 side forked out five million euros to steal the attacking talent from his Austrian-based club.

The 23-year-old signed a four-year deal with the option for an additional year.

Boakye, who carved a niche for himself at WAFA, secured a move to the Austrian side Wolfsberger in 2021, where he became a key figure for the side this past three seasons.

He was involved in sixteen goal contributions in 27 appearances in the just-ended season.

The Ghanaian forward will hope to impress coach Olivier Dall’Oglio and his technical team in pre-season.
