Ashantigold SC President Dr. Kwaku Frimpong is scheduled to meet the playing body of the club this week.

This meeting comes off as a result of the players owed in excess of four months of unpaid salary arrears.

This week, the players failed to train in order to register their displeasure to the top hierarchy as such President of the side, Dr.Kweku Frimpong has moved swiftly to rectify the issue from escalating any further.

The Obuasi-based club didn’t fare too well in the just-ended first round, they finished 11th with 22 points.

This weekend, should the unpaid arrears be settled as they are billed to take on Eleven Wonders in the second round of the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2021-22, it will be a big boost for them heading into the fixture.
