Asante Kotoko should increase their offer – Maxwell Baakoh’s agent

Asante Kotoko are yet to finalize contract negotiations with Maxwell Baakoh, the player will be a free agent when his contract expires on Friday 30th October 2020.

According to the player’s agent, Asante Kotoko is still owing the player and they want the outstanding debt settled before talking about a new contract.

“It is true Kotoko is yet to pay GHC25,000 for the last season which expires on Friday. They should pay that then we start with fresh negotiations” the player’s agent told Oyerepa FM

He also revealed that Asante Kotoko offered a contract to Maxwell Baakoh

“Asante Kotoko has made an offer to the player but they can do better, the new offer should be better than the previous one. The new offer is to pay Maxwell Baakoh GHC3,500 monthly but we want them to give an improved offer.” he added.

Asante Kotoko are looking to seal every transfer and contract negotiations before the transfer window closes, Sahara Football understands they want to keep Maxwell Baakoh and are hoping to reach and agreement with the player and his agent soon.
