Asante Kotoko climb to 6th after win against Liberty Professionals
Asante Kotoko have climbed from 12th to 6th in the Ghana Premier League table after their emphatic 2-0 win against Liberty Professionals on Monday, thanks to two goals from Kwame Opoku.
The Porcupines are now level on points with rivals Hearts of Oak with a game in hand, Hearts of Oak are 5th due to goal difference between both teams.
Johnson Smith and his boys will be looking to win their outstanding game as it could see them move to the top of the table of the League depending on the performance of other teams.
The GFA, however, is yet to fix a date for Kotoko’s outstanding game against Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast.
