Asante Kotoko board members to pull out from media engagements

Asante Kotoko board members have decided to shun media engagements as they concentrate on their duties as board members and policymakers of the club.

The Manhyia Palace constituted a 9-member Board of Directors for the club in May in a bid to transform the Porcupine Warriors.

Three more members were added to the board in June bringing the tally to twelve.

A member of the new board of directors, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi said they took the decision after a careful study of media operations in dealing with football-related issues.

“We have resolved to pull out from talking to the media to restrict ourselves to the actual work that was given to us by Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The work will ultimately do the talking for us,” Boateng Genfi said in an interview with Opemsuo FM.

Boateng Genfi further urged the club’s supporters to rally behind them as they make sure they put good measures in place for the betterment of the club in the coming years.

“We are going to build something substantial for the supporters, and we will definitely do it.”
