Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu has become the subject of strong interest across Europe following his remarkable performances with French club, Clermont Foot 63 in the just-ended season.

Alidu’s performance with his French side caught the eye of the then coach of the sensational team, Otto Addo, and his handlers, who named him as part of the squad for the Ghana BlackStars during their participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.

Saharafootba.net understands that clubs in Europe such as Everton, Newcastle United, RB Leipzig, and Lyon will firm up their interest when the transfer window is in full session.

Bernard Mensah attracts strong interest from the Gulf region

The versatile fullback joined his current club from, JMG Academy in Ivory Coast and has built himself through the ranks of Clermont II before making a breakthrough into the first team.

Even though his career has been blighted by injuries, most recently a knee injury, he has gone on to make over fifty appearances in the past two seasons in the Ligue 1 side, aiding them to finish 8th on the log.
