Alex Aso powered Bibiani GoldStars to an incredible win against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park in a midweek fixture.

The industrious forward was named in the starting lineup by coach Frimpong Manso for the second consecutive game which proved a masterstroke.

In the second half, the home threatened for the equalizer with multiple chances created but they all failed to hit the back of the net as Emmanuel Kobi in post for the away side was equal to the task.

With eighteen minutes to end proceedings, fans favorite Alex Aso was on hand to score a beautiful goal which cushioned his side’s lead and their grip on the summit of the table.
