    Bibiani GoldStars forward Alex Aso has admonished his side’s team effort spirit which saw them bag an important win over former Ghana Premier League Champions Kotoko at the Duns Park. 



    The exciting forward, a summer addition by coach Michael Osei made his home debut for the club against Kotoko and didn’t disappoint he had a goal wrongly disallowed but that didn’t deter him from pushing his team to their first home win of the season.

    The first half swung by with no goals, but the second half produced three goals, Prince Owusu Kwabena earned the first goal for the host with Sherriff Mohammed bringing Kotoko back on level terms and later a sweet curler from Eric Bosomtwi to wrap things for GoldStars.

    Speaking to Sharafootballl.net after the game, Aso, attributed his team’s first win at home over Kotoko to teamwork and determination.  

    “It was good teamwork, playing our first home match against Kotoko, it wasn’t an easy game but with determination and teamwork, we managed to get the maximum points which is very important for us after losing our fits game (Berekum Chelsea) away from home. 

    “I feel good and the focus is on the next game which am hoping to give off my best to help the team” a delighted Alex Aso bagging the Man of the Match award recounted.

    Aso will hope to put in more consistent performances to endear himself to the Bibiani fatefuls. 

    Bibiani GoldStars will travel south to the capital to play Great Olympics in week three of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
