Ajax reject West Ham’s €40m bid for Mohammed Kudus

Ajax has turned down an initial bid of €40 million from West Ham United for the transfer of midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

The Dutch giants are looking to sell for €50 million as the player’s valuation in the current transfer window before allowing him to leave.

It’s said that the player and the representatives of Westham United have agreed on personal terms awaiting the duo clubs to finalize a transfer fee.

Algerian side MC Alger and Joseph Esso officially part ways by mutual consent.

In the last few weeks, the Ghanaian has been the subject of intense interest from a host of clubs in England and Germany.

Brighton was said to have tabled a €40 million for Kudus which was accepted by Ajax but fell short in agreeing personal terms with the player.

It’s unclear if, West Ham United will increase their bid to €50 million to get their man having sold some of their first team players, Declan Rice, Gianluca Scamacca, Nikola Vlasic, Arthur Masuaku, Manuel Lanzini.

Kudus has started brightly this season having been involved in two goals already for Ajax in the 2023/2024 season.
