    Afenya Gyan inspires Cremonese to the quarter-final of the Coppa Italia after scoring in victory over Napoli.

    Ghana’s Afena-Gyan came off the bench to help hise side, Cremonese  eliminate Napoli from the Coppa Italia and also progress to the quarter final stage.

    Afenya sent the game to extra time after scoring thr equalizer just three minutes from full time as  Cremonese were down by 2-1.

    Afena-Gyan replaced David Okere in the second half and was very impactful for his side.

    Charles Pikkel opened the score line for  Cremonese in the 18 minute, however Napoli eqaulised in the 33rd minute through Juan Jesus.

    Giovanni Simeone put Napoli ahead three minutes later. Afenya Gyan scored in the 87th minute to send the game into extra time. The game was decided on penalties after both teams failed to score during extra time.

    Afena-Gyan scored the winnng penalty to ensure Cremonese booked their place in the quarter final of the ongoinh Coppa Italia.
