    AFCON U20 : Black Satellites leave for Egypt

    The Black Satellites have left the shores of Accra for Egypt ahead of the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

     



    The team which is under the supervision of Desmond Ofei had been training at the Accra Sports Stadium for weeks in preparation of the  tournament.

    The team was involved in some friendly game against Inter Allies to fine tune their preparation and for the technical team to iron out some of their deficiencies before the tournament.

    The team have been handed a very tricky draw alongside, Senegal, Dr. Congo and Central African Republic.

    They kick start their group games against , Dr. Congo on May 2 before facing Senegal on May 5 and Central African Republic three days later.

    Before the team departed, GFA President Kurt Okraku graced their hotel with his presence where he offered some motivation to them  ahead of the youth competition.
