Ghana’s Black Satellites pulled through to secure a s a 1-0 victory over defending champions Senegal in their second Group C of the ongoing 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The win marks their first win of the tournament after they secured a 1-1 draw against Congo DR in the first group game.
Emmanuel Mensah was on hand to poke in the first and only goal after he was put through on goal by Lugo player, Jerry Afriyie.

The West African side created a myriad of chances which they should have buried but for sheer lack and inexperience they failed to punish their opponents.
On the other hand, Dreams FC Gidios Aseako made seven crucial saves that aided his side to walk way with three points, a clean sheet and four points after two games.
