Abednego Tetteh sets sights on winning league with Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak striker Abednego Tetteh has strongly suggested that the club’s objective this season is to reclaim the Ghana Premier League.

The Accra-based side have over a decade being eluded with the chance of winning the most coveted trophy on the Ghanaian football scene.

Several years have passed and like every year, the club’s sole ambition is to win the league to appease its fans, who are growing increasingly frustrated by the trophy drought that has plagued the centurion club.

However, striker Abednego Tetteh remarked in a recent media interview with CitiTv expressed his readiness together with his teammates to land a major silverware for the club’s fan base.

“We cannot wait for the start of the new campaign as we want to repay the club for the faith, they have shown in us,

The goal for the season is to win the Ghana Premier League title for the Phobian family,

I personally want to win the league to write my name in the history books of Accra Hearts of Oak,” he ended.

Tetteh’s services was acquired by Hearts on a two-year deal as he will be expected to lead the lines following the departures of Kofi Kordzi and Joseph Esso.

The Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season will kickoff start on November 13, 2020, as clubs are expected to test their playing body, technical team and staff prior to the commencement of the season.
