    Great Olympics striker Maxwell Abbey Quaye, who scored a decisive penalty to gift his side all the 3 maximum points against Aduana Stars couldn’t hide his excitement after scoring for the first time in over 10 matches in the ongoing league. 



    The Dade boys were coming into this duel on the back of losing to Bechem United were hoping to amass all the three maximum points up for grabs which they delivered to perfection to the satisfaction of their vociferous fans at the Accra Sports Stadium.

    In an exclusive interview with Saharafootball.net, following Great Olympics’ win over Aduana Stars, top marksman, Maxwell Abbey Quaye, spoke passionately about what the goal means to him, his game, and the team.



    “This goal is a very important goal for me at this moment, I really needed this goal to gather more scoring confidence”

    “You know football is a game of up and downs, as a winner when things are not going well you need to stand tall and always not give up. “

    The 24-year old continued by saying, this is the start of many goals and good performances from him in the league. 

    “I’m  going to do more henceforth,  I think I went through this defeat and sting of pain just to reactivate the passion inside of me nothing comes easy but am always ready to overcome my challenges,”  he told Saharafootball.net 

    The highly-rated striker has now scored 7 goals in  18 league outings for his side.

    Meanwhile, the win takes them to 4th position on the log with 39 points awaiting their next tie which comes off at the Duns park against Bibiani GoldStars.
