Former Kotoko player, Stephen Amankona has expressed his profound appreciation to the club and its fans treated him during his stay with the club.

The winger initially joined the Porcupine Warriors from Berekum Chelsea but had to the latter in the ongoing transfer window following an unsuccessful spell at Asante Kotoko.

Amankona joined Kotoko on the back of hugely impressing for Berekum Chelsea, scoring 10 in 28 games but failed to replicate that feat at Kotoko.

In a recent post addressing the Kotoko faithfuls, he thanked them for their immense support during his stay at the club.

“I am grateful to the Kotoko fans for the support they provided me. I had a lot of experience at Kotoko. There are a lot of things that happen in football, Hazard for instance moved to Madrid and couldn’t meet expectations but I hope I will regain my form upon my return to Chelsea.
