Antoine Semenyo has pulled out of the Ghana national team squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia.
The 26-year-old’s withdrawal follows a wave of other players (Mohammed Kudus, Nathaniel Adjei, Jan Gyanmerah) who have all pulled out of the upcoming games.
Semenyo, who has established himself as a key attacking option for both club and country since his January 2026 move from Bournemouth, is understood to have stepped aside for precautionary or recovery reasons following a busy start to the Premier League season.
Semenyo’s withdrawal is set to affect Carlos Queiroz, who was expected to lead the attack considering his fine form.
