Hearts of Oak and Bechem United settled for a goalless draw game in game week three of the Ghana Premier League at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The Phobians, who entered the fixture unbeaten and sitting high in the early standings after two convincing wins, dominated much proceedings with 60% possession and more shots on target but a resolute Bechem defence stood firm throughout, frustrating the home side and ensuring the Hunters left with a hard-earned share of the spoils.
The first half failed to produce any clear cut chances for both teams.
Hussein Mohammed was subbed off early in the game after he picked up an injury for Martin Karikari.
The second half flew past with little to choose from between the two teams.
The visiting team threatened sporadically through Yaw Annor and Augustine Okrah but Benjamin Asare was on hand to keep the home team in the game.
The result leaves Hearts of Oak with seven points from three matches (two wins and one draw), keeping them firmly on top of the log.
