    BlackStars head coach Otto Addo has called for the Ghanaians to support the team ahead of its crucial world cup ties next week. 



    The head coach Otto Addo paid a visit to Ga Mantse Tackie Tsuru II, Addo emphasized the importance of unity and support in achieving their goal of qualifying for the World Cup.

    “Ghana nation needs urgently victories to go to the World Cup. We need the support of all Ghanaians, especially GA chiefs to support us in our task so that the whole of Ghana can be happy and everybody will be joining us if we go to the World Cup.” he ended.

    The team did not inspire hope in their AFCON qualification games which saw them winless in six games. They finished button in a group  that had Angola, Niger and Sudan.

    However, the tides of the World Cup qualification games have been on the front foot as they co-share the top spot with Comoros in Group I.

    Accra Sports Stadium will host the BlackStars and Chad on March,21,2025 and play Madagascar in  Morocco three days later.
