    Ghana’s Black Princesses capitulated against their Asian counterparts, Japan in the second group game of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

     



    The West African nation lost their opening game to the European side, Austria, and needed an improved performance against Japan.

    Coach Yusif Basigi ringed some changes to the setup, Mary Amponsah, Wasiima Mohammed, Jennifer Dawah, and Beline Nyarkoh came in for Jennifer Owusu, Salamatu Abdulai, Asana Alhassan, Tracy Twum who started the first game against Austria.

    With the first half looking to end in a goalless stalemate, the Japanese pulled two goals in quick succession to end the first half 2-0 victors through, Chinari Sasai, and Manaka Matsukubo.

    Mafia Nyame, Sarah Kulible, and Tracey Twum replaced Wasiima Mohammed, Jennifer Dawah, and Hannah Nyame in the second half of the game.

    Five minutes after the resumption of the second half, they continued right where they left off, Miku Hayama with the third goal of the game.

    Ghana will look to save efface with their last group game against New Zealand as they have no points from two games.
